35 Interior doors

Interior doors and exterior Kitchen door: 25 December 2016 / 20 January 2017

All interior doors and frames are solid Rimu and still had the original varnish finishes, which reasonably easy could be removed with a scraper.
A few softer spots had been attacked by borer. I removed the softer bits and replaced them with retrieved Rimu.
The old Rimu is beautiful and I'm very pleased with the pre-finished (oil-ed) results.

At a few door and door frames the position of the hinges had been amended; however not very likely in this house.
Had the builders made a mistake at the time or had there been another life before being used house Muschamp?

The interior door hardware is uniform and still original; I had removed all of it prior to commencing the work on the doors.
The electroplated finish of the hardware is worn and research is required for a finishes update.

The exterior Kitchen door and frame were painted and still in good condition; technically it had become an interior door.
Chamfered edges at concealed corners of the door frame indicated reuse of the door frame.
